Santa Monica is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Santa Monica follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Heard about HiHo’s Wagyu ingredient and wanted to check out their burgers. After our hike in the Santa Monica Mountains we paid them a visit. We ordered “Pastrami Heat” burgers double wagyu patties with the addition of pastrami and spiced onions. Heat was just perfect with the burgers nicely done. The pastrami is fantastic. Blushing soft pink. Gorgeous. We ordered a Ceasar Salad and Fries with the “Matty Sauce” was nice with a touch of spice. Is it Marie Rose with addition of some sriracha? Milkshakes are thick and delicious. Anyways. We enjoyed it so much a couple of days later we went back for the same again.

06/21/2026 It was my first experience and I was surprised to learn that their burgers are made with "wagyu" beef. The place is located 10 minutes away from the beach and it was clean. Sizewise, their burgers are smaller than typical burgers but the quality of the meat make up for it. I tried their double cheese burger with pastrami and it was the bomb.

A great, low-stress addition to the Santa Monica burger scene. The primary selling point here is the sheer convenience—you get a quality meal without having to endure the agonizingly long lines that usually plague the area's top-tier burger joints. The burgers themselves are undeniably good and hit the spot, but they don't necessarily reinvent the wheel. It’s a completely solid, reliable option if you happen to be in the neighborhood and want a quick, satisfying bite, but it’s probably not the kind of destination you need to cross town or go completely out of your way for. If you're nearby and looking for a straightforward, no-hassle meal, it absolutely does the job. Well done HiHo Cheeseburger!

The fries were absolutely incredible—crispy, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the burger itself was disappointing, as the meat was not cooked nearly enough, which was especially concerning for me as I am pregnant. I also found the prices to be relatively high considering the portion sizes. That said, I want to note that the staff were very kind and welcoming, which we really appreciated. Overall, a mixed experience with great service but some important issues with the food.
